The rating is the same scale as in game: it is computed from level and experience. Rounds and damage arrive from the game servers at the end of each round.

Common questions about the rating and the places
How is the rating calculated?
From the experience you have accumulated — the start is 1 000, the Phase 0 ceiling is 20 000, and it is linear in between. It is the same number the player sees in game: the site and the server use one formula.
Why am I not on the list?
The leaderboard holds players who have a profile and at least one recorded round. If you have only just registered and have not played yet, there is no row — it appears after your first round on a Phase 0 server.
Why is there no “infections” tab?
The game awards experience for infections but does not keep a separate counter yet. When it does, the tab will sit next to rounds and damage.
How is a unit’s strength calculated?
By the average rating of its members, not the sum: otherwise capacity would decide the places instead of play. The roster and the shared bank are shown next to it.
